SUMMARY:

The candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing power-enhanced chemistries to deliver oral health & beauty benefits to hard and soft tissues.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new / existing technologies that can be paired with different forms of energy (electricity, light, ultrasound) to provide enhanced therapeutic and /or cosmetic benefits
  • Explore applications to whole mouth environment, including the hard and soft tissues
  • Develop / design in-vitro methods / models to evaluate and demonstrate technology efficacy and mode of action
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal partners to progress lead technologies into the product development stage
  • Work with external partners to advance research program
  • Basic Qualifications (Required education, experience, skills etc. to qualify candidate):

  • PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering or related scientific field
  • Candidate should be results-oriented and able to effectively generate, analyze and interpret data to drive research direction and meet project goals.
  • Candidate should possess good project management skills including the ability to manage project activities, milestones and timelines.
  • Candidate should be able to effectively communicate project status though both oral presentations and written reports.
  • Candidate should be a team-player with good inter-personal skills
  • Preferred Qualifications (Additional education, experience, skills etc. as assets):

  • 2+ years of post-doctoral or industrial experience
  • Experience with Electrochemistry or Iontophoresis
